I first saw Natascha at WDS Bratislava last year. She seemed really tough and difficult to get in touch with, the unapproachable type, if you know what I mean. "Fabulous show dogs but very strict lady!", I was saying to myself at that time. No offence, Natascha!
Finding myself in the real need to improve my grooming skills or better said to build them up, as one could hardly call my scissoring technique , I decided to attend Natascha's workshop on 07-08.08.2010. Though the seminar wasn't addressing to almost beginners like I was, I decided to give it a try. More than 900 km were lying ahead to Natascha's home... but every second spent there was worth it. The first thing that really stroke me when meeting her was to discover a wonderful open-hearted human being. She is kind, patient and so willing to share all her knowledge about poodles. As a groomer/breeder she is a true perfectionist!!!! I have never before seen so much mastery, passion and gift! As she literally said it, the grooming is supposed to be in one's mind while hands are only work tools that execute commands sent by the brain. Natascha is an artist, once she has set the poodle on her grooming table she starts creating. It's such a pleasure to watch her working! For 2 days I was like a sponge trying to absorb and store as much knowledge as possible. Natascha is also a very gifted grooming trainer: kind&strict, according to every particular situation/trainee. So I advise everyone interested in upgrading his/her poodle grooming techniques to enroll in one of her workshops as one would never waste his/her time there! A big round of applause for Natascha!
